Due to rapidly toughening quality requirements within the pharmaceutical industry, packaging manufacturers are seeking measurement devices that are more efficient and repeatable than hand tools, but dedicated to small packages (glass and plastic). The AVBIS 3000Pharma was developed to meet this unique request.


The 3000Pharma system takes all the simplicity and features of the standard AVBIS series, and applies them in a smaller footprint system designed specifically to suit the needs of manufacturers producing very small bottles and vials/ampoules.


The 3000Pharma is a bottle neck finish and body diameter measurement system. The system is designed to automatically handle and measure sample runs of the small lightweight bottles and containers (65mm diameter, 150mm height) common in the pharmaceutical packaging industry. Data produced from these measurements can be used for general quality department purposes, and/or for line process control and improvement.

 

Depending upon customer requirements, camera resolution can be substantially increased on the 3000Pharma, enhancing magnification of the neck finish on various bottles, thereby achieving even greater accuracy and repeatability than the standard system.
